I would like to thank Bourne Hall museum for the very enjoyable (and reasonable) Magna Carta event held recently in Rosebery Park.

The marvellous combination of 'Historia Normanis" battle re-enactments, their costumes, artefacts, food, the archery, and falconry displays by 'Huxleys' was both entertaining and educational.

The way everything was organised and presented gave you a real insight into what life was really like in the 13th century and the heritage surrounding the pivotal moment in our history in 1215 when the Magna Carta was signed.

It was a real fun way for all the children especially to learn about it and an experience they will not forget.

I, and I'm sure a lot of both adults and children will be intrigued to see what period in our history will be represented next year!

Yours faithfully,

Amanda Borwick
