Rugby players will have music in their ears when they arrive for the World Cup thanks to a boys school choir.
Choristers from Trinity School will perform the tournament’s anthem World in Union at a ceremony which will include the presentation of official caps and participation medals to the teams.
The school in Shirley Park has also been chosen as the team base for France this September.
Trinity School’s director of music David Swinson said: “Boys at Trinity School love both music and sport and are actively encouraged to do both in their time at school.
“It’s great for us to be able to demonstrate this aspect of our pupils’ education by having our choir support the rugby world cup welcome celebrations.
“We can’t wait.”
